Those who help plan their final journey can pass away with dignity and spare their loved ones the burden of making the decision.
My Founding Idea
Since I live here and, if things go well…
I will also die here!!!
I’ve already decided for myself:
“My funeral can be C O L O R F U L , in every respect.”
Well, who’s supposed to know that, or even implement it????
From this, the idea of founding a funeral home in Hurghada on the Red Sea in Egypt, serving foreigners, was born… MyWay Funeral Service.
It just didn’t exist… until now!!!
Be honest…what’s going to happen to you? Do you already have plans, and have you even announced them?
After me, the flood?
Who cares?
Someone will turn up, mentality?
I experienced that firsthand as a bereaved family member…not so relaxed and cool this mindset !!!
About Me and My Own Experience
When my children’s father died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 43.
I was standing there with five children, a house, a company, and an estate.
But of course, first of all, I went to the Undertaker and had to decide on something that had never been discussed… the funeral !!! It always affects someone else, right?!!
Luckily, we knew his favorite color, goblin blue, and luckily, the undertaker had an urn in exactly that color.
Did he want to be cremated? No idea!!
The urn still fit in his parents’ family grave.
For flowers, we chose white jasmine; he loved the fragrant bush in his garden…
The cemetery was more reminiscent of a rocker party; he certainly enjoyed the roar of the Harleys as background music and the last Jim Beam Coke toast.
It gave us comfort and a sense of support, but honestly, I wish he had decided this himself beforehand and been actively involved in creating it instead of just passively participating.
Since I’ve been traveling worldwide for over 30 years for work, mostly fulfilling vacationers’ wishes, whether it’s driving them from A to B as a coach driver or planning their excursions, this is where things come full circle…
Come by, let’s talk about your wishes BEFORE your last breath.
Think about the future sooner, because “people always die,” even at the Red Sea, and “Death on the Nile” is already a classic.
Perhaps see you soon, healthy and alive.
And don’t forget
Sympathy is what counts during life,
Necessity afterward
You are always welcome.
